“Jelise has a heart for ministering to women and lives a life that has been transformed by Christ. I personally have been touched by the loving spirit that Jelise brings to her ministry and how she loves on each woman she encounters. It was wonderful to hear Jelise openly and honestly share the struggles through which God has led her, in a way that points other women to the transformative power of Christ. I definitely recommend her as a women’s retreat speaker.” – women’s retreat leader

What others are saying:
“It has been said, ‘Vision is the art of seeing what is invisible to others.’ I believe God has instilled vision in Jelise. She speaks from her heart on true-life issues that all can relate to. She always uplifts and encourages while serving you with love.” – retreat attendee and ministry leader
“Jelise Ballon is an amazing woman. Her strength and wisdom are so powerful. She speaks from the heart, sharing her life stories and her love and passion of God’s word. My experience with Jelise as she led my first women’s retreat was so encouraging. I left feeling loved, inspired and full of faith. Jelise has such compassion to share God’s grace, she connects so well with her audience, encouraging and lifting them up to have a strong and faithful relationship with God.” – retreat attendee
“Jelise Ballon combines an engaging and highly personal speaking style with an openness about her own life and faith journey. She is vulnerable and real about how messy that has sometimes been, and about the difference God’s grace has made for her and those around her. She leaves her audience inspired to lean more heavily on the love and redemption only found in Christ. While Jelise can connect with audiences of both genders and all ages, she will particularly appeal to women who are navigating marriage, motherhood, and/or careers as a Christian woman.” – retreat attendee

Forgiven and Restored – discovering the blessings of forgiveness and restored relationships
Forgiveness is not just something God wants us to do in order to be a “good Christian” it is what He desires for us in order to live a life of freedom and joy. But forgiveness is just the first step. God also promises that damaged relationships can be healed and restored. If you are struggling with forgiving the people closest to you; if you have lost hope that your relationships can be repaired; if you wonder how you can ever learn to trust again, this talk is for you.
Inviting God into your mess
Do you look around and feel like everyone else has it all together and you are a crumbling mess? Your children are testing your last nerve, your kitchen is full of dirty dishes, you just had an argument with your husband, and you haven’t had a a decent night of sleep in…well who can remember? So where does God fit in to all of this?
Through personal and often humorous stories, I share my own struggles to accept the upturned nature of life as a wife and mother and how I’m learning to invite God into my mess instead of trying to pretend it doesn’t exist. I will also share some practical ways you can find peace in the midst of the most hectic days and how to rely on God for strength and guidance.
A shattered marriage repaired
After growing up in a broken home, I always said if my husband ever cheated on me, I would pack my bags and be out the door. But when I came face-to-face with that reality a few years into my marriage, I was surprised to hear God whispering to me that I needed to stay. The journey my husband and I embarked on over the following years was truly a humbling and challenging one. In this talk I will share with you the hope that marriages can be healed, trust can be restored, and God will equip you with everything you need to get through the worst of it.
Faith like a centurion
Do you believe in God, or do you believe God? Read carefully, because they’re not the same. Through His word, God has given us the hope and promise of a life well-lived; a life where He promises to provide for every situation and need. But do we really believe this? In this talk I will take you into the story of the only man whose faith “amazed” Jesus, and how we can use prayer and scripture to help us confidently embrace God’s promises and pursue an unwavering faith.
Who am I?
Is God calling you to help Him fulfill His plans? Is fear keeping you from answering God’s call on your life? God called Moses to lead the Israelites out of Egypt, but Moses let his fear get in the way, saying to God: “Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh and bring the Israelites out of Egypt?” Thankfully we have a God who doesn’t give up on us. In this talk you’ll be challenged to ask yourself “What is God calling me for?” And, “how is my fear preventing me from answering God’s call on my life?”
By whose standards?
What standards do you measure yourself against? God’s or the worlds? In this talk we examine the lies we often tell ourselves when being judged against the world’s standards, and compare that to the Truth of God’s word.
You are the daughter of the King
The world tells us: you don’t measure up; you aren’t pretty enough; you aren’t smart enough; you are too big, too clumsy, too loud; you aren’t enough. As we receive these lies over and over from different sources, it’s hard to shut them out, and so we begin to believe them. We believe we are unworthy and we seek love and acceptance from places, things, and people that were never meant to fill that emptiness inside our hearts.
But what if you knew that you were chosen, hand-picked with love? What if you believed that you were loved so deeply and so fiercely that wars had been waged, enemies cut-down, and evil defeated all for you? What if you could stand up and claim your lineage as a daughter of a great King, a King who has designed for you an inheritance that is more than anything earthly words could describe?
When God calls – how He called 7 women of the Bible
Seven seemingly ordinary women. Some of them felt like outcasts, some felt lost and broken, and some felt insignificant and unqualified. But as we look closer at each of their stories we will find that God called each of them to accomplish a very specific task, a task that would not only fulfill His promise to her, but would fulfill His promise to His people.
